Abstract

The study aimed to analyze the availability of digital transformation standards throughout the phased development of the technological tools used within the information system of Kuwait Finance House during the period (2015–2024). The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach based on the case study method through the analysis of the published annual reports of Kuwait Finance House.

The findings indicate that digital transformation within KFH’s information systems followed a cumulative evolutionary trajectory characterized by four main stages: basic digitization, functional expansion and integration, digital maturity and smart services, and comprehensive digital transformation. The results reveal a gradual advancement in the type of technological tools, the functional scope of their use, the degree of system integration, and the supporting technological infrastructure, reflecting a shift in the role of information systems from operational support to a strategic component in decision support and institutional transformation.
