Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 11-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Research papers will be published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY).

Author Guidelines

 

Gharyan Journal of Technology (GJT) welcomes original and high-quality research articles that have not been previously published or submitted elsewhere.

1. Journal Scope

The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, and case studies in the fields of technology and applied sciences, which include the following:

  • Electrical Engineering and Electronics and its branches and those with electrical power, control, communications, and mechatronics.
  • Chemical and Petroleum Engineering and its branches.
  • Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and its branches related to product quality control and industrial engineering.
  • Civil and Architectural Engineering and its branches.
  • Information Systems and Financial Management and its branches.

2. Peer Review Policy

This journal applies a double anonymous peer review process:

  • All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening.
  • Manuscripts are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.
  • The identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process.
  • The final decision is made by the editorial board based on reviewers’ reports and scientific quality.

3. Open Access Policy

The journal provides immediate open access to its content to support the global exchange of scientific knowledge.

 4. Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain the copyright of their work. Articles are published under the
Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction, provided the original author and source are credited.

 5. Publication Ethics

The journal adheres to international standards of publication ethics, including:

  • Prevention of plagiarism
  • Disclosure of conflicts of interest
  • Research integrity
  • Retraction of articles in cases of ethical misconduct

6. Article Processing Charges (APCs)

The journal does not charge any fees for publication.

7. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal’s online submission system (OJS) by registering as an author and following the submission steps.

8. Language of Publication

The journal accepts manuscripts in Arabic or English, with an abstract provided in the other language.

9. Writing Rules

Adhering rules of Gharyan Journal of Technology  to accept submitted scientific research.
